This letter was received from a
youth pastor in Poland. We had the pleasure of working with him on our
recent trip. Dear Ken,
It was so good to see you again and to spend some time with you. Thanks for
everything. I could hear and learn from you. Hopefully you will visit
Poland again!
Yesterday six people from the youth group got baptized. It was a great day!
As I saw them I felt that God is blessing youth ministry. This summer
we will have youth camp. More and more people sign up. We pray
that it would be life changing experience for youth.
Please share my greetings with Eva
Greg
Some
other recent comments:
From South Carolina:
I know Ken from being a student at Bodenseehof
Bible School
in Germany back in 1973-74. (Can I really be that old?) He was a guest
lecturer for several weeks and was a great encouragement to all the students
A Vicar in an Anglican church in England comments:
"I felt your talks were accessible and challenging.
They were relevant and
very easy to listen to. "
From a Church leader, England:
"Everyone I have spoken to has appreciated your
ministry, and judging by
the interest in tapes, your words are receiving and ever wider audience."
A Senior missionary, Overseas Missionary Fellowship writes:
"Let me say again, what a joy and inspiration it
was to sit under your clear exposition of Scripture...your dedicated
ministry bears all the hallmarks of an authentic work engraved by the Holy
Spirit. "
From a retired Baptist. missionary, Belfast
"What a delight...to bathe in the refreshing and
challenging ministry you brought to us all during the Holy Week services. It
was a breath of God to our souls."
We'd like to share a letter
received from the pastor of a church where we recently had opportunity
to minister.
"Dear Brothers and Sisters,
I have asked brother Ken, if we could write some short letter to
His friends, to express our thankfulness to those, who allowed
him and Sister Eva to come to Poland. That is what I am doing writing to
you this few words with my limited English. We are very thankful
to those, who participated in making it possible for Eva and Ken Needham
to come to Poland.
We are a young Baptist church, that was started 5 years ago
with 18 people and has now 85 members.
(If anyone would like to read more about our church, you can
look at our web page: www.baptisten.org/pl/poznan_2
)
We are a charismatic Baptist church in Poznan, Poland.
The ministry of brother Ken is very special blessing since we
have met him in 1988. It was amazing experience to meet brother,
who is open for the Holy Spirit and in the same time rooted in the Word
of God so
strongly. Poland is 99% catholic, with 0,02% of evangelical
believers. In
our church we have only 2 members, who come from evangelical families.
All of the rest heard the Gospel in past few years. There is so great
need for them to see good example of Christianity, that is open for the
work of the Holy Spirit and in the same time based on the Word of God.
In Poland, you find many
times churches that are either against gifts of the Holy Spirit or
based just on experience of emotions. As pastor, I see this
challenge for myself, to stay close to the Lord and allow Him to lead
the church through my ministry in balanced direction. We are very
thankful to the Lord for this chance to receive such good example in our
churches from Eva and Ken.
We don't need to tell you how wonderful is to experience the reality of
Gods word, when brother Ken shares with us. But we want to say, that we
are thankful for their shepherd hearts, for their love and openness to
the children of God in Poznan. Please know, that your decision to
help Eva and Ken to come to Poland was a special gift to our
churches. Your love has given me great joy an encouragement,
because you , brother, have refreshed the hearts of the
saints... Philemon 1,7 We would dream for them to come again to
serve us!
May the Lord bless you with His peace and joy, leading you in
fulfilling your ministry in this lost world...
yours in Jesus,

Comments from an eleven year old girl:
"Hi Mr. Needham! I'm Kelsi. I really
enjoyed the sermon that you did at chapel on last Wednesday.
You made Bible really exciting that day. I liked all the stories
you put in to help us understand John 3:16. I hope you can come
back to chapel soon!"
Comments from a Pastor in Washington State:
."It was a great blessing to have you at Lake Tapps. Thank
you so much for your ministry of the Word. I was drinking it in! Others
have told me they were too."
Comments from Colorado:
"I was so glad I was able to hear Ken Needham speak every
day a
couple of weeks ago. I spent a lot of time meditating on what he
said. I
really experienced Hebrews 4:12 when it talks about the word of God
being sharper than any two-edged sword and able to judge the thoughts
and intentions of the heart. Through Ken's handling of the word of God I
was EXPOSED. I felt like I'd had surgery"
"Thank you for the messages you gave at O.M.F. in
Littleton, CO last
week. My husband and I were blessed by your fresh insights into
Scripture"
"I spent a lot of time in prayer that week -- I was
convicted of the idols
in my life..."
"Thanks for inviting me to hear Ken -- he was such a blessing
to me."
"Hearing your teacher speak was a real treat."
"I didn't want him to stop speaking."
"What an excellent man he is. He was a gift to us."
