Hi Ken, I just thought you may like to know that we had our CBSI Leaders Retreat Day here in Victoria, Australia yesterday. We used two of your messages, Cracked Pots and Stir up the gift and all said that they were very challenged by your messages. There was laughter (at the 'dad' jokes) and even some tears (at the challenges). Thank you so much for your teaching and may the Lord bless you abundantly. Comments from Ken's past ministry
(24 years ago in Atlanta) :Dear Mr. Needham, I was recently leading my men's small group Bible study through Colossians 1 when I remembered a week of meetings where I heard you preach from the same text. I dug through my old tapes and found the sermons, dated April 1983. I would have been a young teenager at the time, but I remembered the sermons as the best I had ever heard on the text. I shared some of the tapes and wove pieces of them through my lesson. I just wanted to drop you a note to let you know that 24 years later a sermon preached one evening in Atlanta was still being used, was bearing fruit, and was a blessing to other Christians. Unfortunately, the cassette tapes are falling apart and I need to try to get them transferred to a digital media so that they will continue to be a blessing going forward. I was happy to find you on the web and to see that you are still preaching the Word of God. Thank you for your ministry. |

Ken was at our church and in my home for a small
group meeting – absolutely wonderful and so challenging! What a blessing he
was to us and how great to see how God has gifted him and how he is using
those gifts! Loved the story about the girl on the plane with red & green
hair as he was teaching on the effect and power of the Holy Spirit in our
lives. |
